As an international model from the age of 14- 24, I learned first hand the highs and lows that a professional model faces. The realities we live are far different than the lives society expects, and it can be hard to gain proper perspective and understanding of your career.
Confusion, exploitation, and manipulation are very common in this line of work which is exactly why I am here and why I am so passionate to give you the education and insight you need to help you avoid these very common pitfalls.
At 24 I became an agent in New York City and was shocked to realize how different the business side of the industry was. There is so many aspects that models are not exposed to and don’t understand fully, things that would truly benefit them.
The typical agent will put a lot of focus on speaking with clients and setting up work opportunities for you, which is incredibly important. However, shifting gears to make sure their talent is fully aware and knowledgeable about the standard processes that we all live by is not something that is always seen as “financially beneficial,” and often gets overlooked or postponed to a mysterious future date.
This is why I am here. This is my passion. I believe you deserve to know as much as you can about this industry so you can run yourself as the business that you are, confidently moving within it, and creating the life you aspire for and deserve for yourself.
